Kate Cassidy, girlfriend of the late Liam Payne, has opened up about a cruel online prank that left her devastated.
The 26-year-old American influencer revealed that an anonymous troll sent her flowers, with a savage note attached.
Kate took to Instagram on Saturday to share the bizarre incident.
At first, she was excited when a bouquet was delivered to her home, filming herself giddy with anticipation.
“Oh my God, I love getting flowers,” she said.
But the joy quickly turned to heartbreak when she read the accompanying message: “Happy early birthday! The Botox and the TikTok filters are working harder than all of us x. TikTok user.”
In the video, Kate’s smile fades as she tosses the flowers in the bin, visibly shaking with anger.
“Who genuinely spends the money and the time to literally go out of their way to hurt somebody’s feelings?” she fumed.
The post comes amid a particularly emotional period for Kate, who marked her second Valentine’s Day without Liam.
She shared a heartfelt polaroid of the pair with the caption: “Happy Valentine’s Day to my best friend from afar.”
She has been candid about her grief journey, insisting that anyone she dates in the future must accept that she will always love Liam.
In a TikTok, she explained: “When a person dies, they die twice, once when they actually die and the second time when you stop speaking about them.
I’m not going to have Liam die twice on me. I will love him forever.”
Meanwhile, Liam’s sister, Ruth Gibbins, has shared her sorrow over their senior school being demolished, reflecting on memories of her brother and the “thousand tiny losses” she experiences daily.
