Doja Cat has dished her thoughts on one of Timothée Chalamet’s most polarizing opinions, which has sparked a massive debate online.
The Marty Supreme actor has gone viral for saying that he does not want to be working in ballet or opera, calling them art forms that no one really cares about.
In a recent clip shared on social media, the Woman singer denounced the remarks and explained as well as praised the classical performances that the 30-year-old dismissed.
“Hey by the way, opera is 400 years old, ballet is 500 years old somebody named Timothee Chalamet had the nerve, big guy by the way, had the nerve to say on camera that nobody cares about it,” Doja began.
The Say So hit maker then went on to explain that people have respect for these art forms, and there is an etiquette around it, as well as noting the effort goes into it.
“It doesn’t matter if the industry is having a tough time at any time which a lot of industries have a tough time, your industry has a tough time, my industry has a tough time, doesn’t mean people don’t care about it. People care…” she added.
Doja ended the video by asking Timothee to learn something from the etiquette of the audience watching ballet and opera, which was to be quiet and respectful.
