Chris Hemsworth shares story behind each unique tattoo on his body

Chris Hemsworth opened up about the background of each special tattoo he has on his body.

The Thor actor shared that he has multiple tattoos inspired by his 13-year-old daughter India’s drawings.

In the latest podcast interview along with Jason Bateman, Will Arnett, and Sean Hayes, the Avengers star shared that he he has more tattoos inspired by his daughter on his arm.

Pointing out her little drawings permanently etched to his skin, he shared that one night he was with his tattoo artist and he was designing a tattoo on Crime 101 star’s hand "all this sort of sacred geometry and trippy-looking stuff."

During that moment his daughter walked in complaining that she can't sleep due to noise they are making. She then began scribble and "drew the three little images here."

The idea was shared by his tattoo artists who looked at his daughter’s drawing saying, "'I think [her drawings are] way cooler than anything we're designing.'"

Hence from that moment onwards the India’s drawing became part of his skin.

Hemsworth shared that he has a Dr. Seuss ink on his skin "I used to read that book to her a lot, and my mom read it to me, Oh, the Places You'll Go."

His daughter then drew the character and Hemsworth got it inked, however soon he got sick of it decided to remove it.

After one laser session his daughter noticed it asking why was it "rubbing off" when the Australian actor gave her the reason, she said that she loves it and he should keep it.

Hemsworth tied the knot with Elsa Pataky in 2010 and then welcomed daughter India and twin sons Sasha and Tristan.
