Timothée Chalamet has dished his thoughts about his marketing campaign along with his appreciation of theatres and cinema.

The Little Women actor attended a Q&A at the Los Angeles Theatre on Friday and talked about his past projects with the streaming giant, Netflix, namely The King and Don’t Look Up.

“If you put out a movie theatrically, what I’ve felt — based on my experience with The King or Don’t Look Up — is that it’s just more of a moment, It sounds like cheesy marketing talk, but it’s more ceremonial. It’s more drumroll,” he stated.

Chalamet added that it was tougher to do that when something goes direct to streaming platforms, before remarking on his unconventional and attention-grabbing methods to promote Marty Supreme.

“I relish it. This is the aspirational hip-hop part of me. … What a dream, man. Are you kidding me?” he added of the ability to promote his movie in the way that he did.

The hip-hop lover in the 30-year-old was indeed a major part of the compelling campaign since he literally joined rapper EsDeeKid to spit some bars of his own.

Notably, the Scouse rapper and the actor rumoured to be his alter ego collaborated on a remix of 4 Raws and broke the internet.

Has Timothee Chalamet talked about Kid Cudi?

Yes, the Dune star has also praised Cudi, making similar remarks that the rapper is his favourite artist, and that it was crazy to be a friend of the Grammy winner.
