Kate Cassidy marked Valentine’s Day with a touching tribute to her late partner Liam Payne, the former One Direction singer who died in October 2024 at age 31.
Cassidy took to her Instagram Stories on February 14 to share heartfelt mementos from their relationship, including a framed photo collage of the couple and a bouquet of red roses, gifts she received from a friend for her first Valentine’s without him.
At the centre of the collage were their initials and the number “444,” a sequence Cassidy has shared previously as a symbol of spiritual connection and love, which she interprets as signs from Payne after his passing.
She posted images of the keepsake with a caption calling the gift “so special,” expressing how deeply she continues to feel connected to the late singer.
According to Daily Mail, Cassidy also referenced a shared memory from exactly one year prior, when the couple watched the northern lights together on Valentine’s Day.
Moreover, the post included screenshots of an app that tracked aurora activity, which Cassidy said appeared to spell out the angel number again, reinforcing her sense that “signs are real.”
Payne and Cassidy had been together since 2022, and before his death, they were reportedly planning to marry, with Payne writing a note envisioning a future together.
Cassidy has frequently honored him on social media, sharing memories and messages of enduring love with her followers.
