Halle Berry and Van Hunt recently took their relationship to the next level
Halle Berry and her beau Van Hunt have recently announced a major step they took in their relationship, and now the former is dishing on how she feels about it.
The Academy Award winner has been married thrice in the past, and was reportedly not expecting to be close to the altar a fourth time when the songwriter popped the question after five years of them dating, on February 5th.
A source dished to People, "After Van proposed, Halle needed a few months to get comfortable with the idea of getting married again.”
They went on to explain that Halle considered the proposal “unexpected” and that she enjoys the pair’s relationship as it is and that she loves him very much and that Van makes her incredibly happy, along with adding that she is fortunate and excited to be engaged.
The insider stated of the nuptials "it will be a small, meaningful wedding with their closest friends and family," but the date has not been set yet.
Halle and the 55-year-old have also clarified a previous proposal, which confused fans who wondered if the Golden Globe winner had said no at the time but she hadn’t.
