Madison Beer has once again opened up about the "anxious" effect of social media on her mental health.

The 26-year-old’s Instagram and TikTok fanbase exceeds 40 and 21 million followers, respectively.

During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter on February 5, the singer shared an update on her relationship with the internet.

The Make You Mine crooner began to mark, "My relationship with social media is really poor."

"I feel like I’m constantly anxious and feeling like I want to delete all my social media," explained Beer.

"It’s something I actually struggle with weekly, where I will have a thought: I don’t want to participate in any of that stuff anymore.”

She continued, “Then I’ll go on TikTok, and I’ll see someone post a video crying about how much they love me and how excited they are for my tour.”

Adding, “Okay, obviously this is what I would love to only ever see, positive, nice things like that."

The star went on to state that the truth is that it's not the reality, as she keeps lingering on hate videos or tweets.

"Most girls my age are on TikTok and able to scroll and [have] it not be an issue," she said.

"I have to sit and be worried that I’m going to see a f---ing mean video about myself.”

This is not an issue; however, the reviews make the star upset.

Madison's new album Locket was released last month and crossed over 1 million Spotify streams in the first 24 hours.
