Teyana Taylor has once again credited Beyoncé for the handy industry tips.

During a recent interview with PEOPLE Magazine, the American singer-songwriter recounted a meaningful exchange with the global superstar.

The 35-year-old opened the chat referring to the Halo crooner, “I have been fortunate enough to meet, work and be around some pretty amazing people within this business that has really helped shape me through it all.”

The Coming 2 America actress marked the advice by Beyoncé that keeps being light for her, "That instilled in me, if Beyoncé is this way and she’s so grounded and she’s so this, this is the way I need to be."

She went on to note, “I definitely came in the business at a time where I went into everything with my heart."

Continuing, "I didn’t understand certain things, and I would go to her and she’s just like, ‘Don’t take it personal.’ My mom would tell me the same thing.”

The 44-year-old ushered her to “invest in yourself,” the 35-time Grammy winner's guidance added “don’t take it personal, this is a business.”

She also counseled Taylor, “believing in yourself is investing in yourself — and she taught me that.”

As Taylor had concerns about her finances, to which the star explained, “the majority of your money [is] going toward everybody you had to pay to bring your vision to life.”

The Ring the Alarm choreographer marked her collaborator, "[Beyoncé], being as humble as she is and as grounded as she is, definitely showed me everything that I needed to know, And I don’t take for granted.”
