Ariana Grande has been the subject of a lot of criticism online, for the way she looks to her interactions and interviews with her Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo.
The Eternal Sunshine singer revealed how she grounds herself and what she thinks of when it all gets too much for her.
In an interview with Vogue Japan published on 26th January, 2026, the Positions singer reportedly got teary eyed before commenting the public's perceptions of her.
The 32-year-old stated that she thinks about her late Nonna’s advice to “F**k ‘em!” comes to her mind when the outside noise gets too difficult to ignore.
“I attempt to channel her strength always,” Ariana stated, adding, “And my mom has always been here to set the record straight in my head and remind me of my worth as an artist and as a human being every time that noise has almost derailed me.”
The Victorious actress also said that she felt very seen for her creative endeavours between Wicked and Eternal Sunshine.
Notably Ariana said that she appreciates it when there is a lot of chatter around her art and not her image as a celebrity, likely referring to her appearance and love life.
Ariana has dispelled retirement rumours and revealed that she has no plans to quit music anytime soon.
