Nikki Glaser, the widely recognised comedian, revealed a surprising incident that occurred at the Golden Globes over the weekend.
The 41-year-old actress disclosed that she nearly roasted Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt during her hosting stint but ultimately decided to scrap the joke.
While speaking on The Howard Stern Show, Nikki shared what could have been a cheeky moment.
"When a man turns 60, he gets to play a racecar driver. Meanwhile, after 35, every role for a woman is a tired mum who hates her life.
Brad, you were so good, I almost thought you’d driven yourself somewhere in the last 30 years. But Brad did a lot of his own driving in the movie."
She further added, "And Brad, I don’t want to embarrass you, but your blinker was on the whole time.”
Moreover, Not Safe with Nikki Glaser star also teased that she had a gag lined up about rising star Sydney Sweeney, poking fun at the tricky roles for young women in Hollywood.
"There was a movie this year where Sydney Sweeney played a lesbian who just bounced around in tiny shorts for two hours and it made $14."
Before the ceremony, Nikki told Variety she was treading carefully, trying to hit the “perfect note” between funny and sensitive.
She explained: "You don’t want to touch on anything that’s going to bring the whole room down or remind them of something really tragic. But at the same time, you don’t want to completely ignore it."
