Drew Barrymore states aging 'not something to fear' at 50

Drew Barrymore has become more confident since her midcentury as she has been sharing her makeup-free snaps from time to time.

The 50-year-old host is seen advocating her views about aging. On December 24, the Charlie's Angels star took to her official Instagram to flaunt her raw face. 

The video post featured her smiling face. "Aging is a privilege that I will never take for granted," Barrymore penned over her video.

The Scream artist looked confident as she showcased her bare skin and fine facial lines.

She went on to state from her own experience as she turned 50 on February 22. “It is not something to fear.”

The American actress and film producer quickly grabbed attention from her followers and fellow celebrities as she uploaded the reel.

Her Blended co-star Bella Thorne urged for more content from the clip, “We need more of this!!!” while chef Carla Hall added, “Those beautiful laugh and smile lines are EVERYTHING!!”

One social media user wrote, "Those beautiful laugh and smile lines are EVERYTHING!! ????????"

Another netizen chimed in, "Yes. A thousand times, YES!!!!! How lucky we are to be alive to do all the things. Xxx." 

Notably, Barrymore has long been open about her approach towards beauty and wellness.

Previously, during her show, she candidly revealed that she has not done any cosmetic procedure on her face and added, “I wanna try and stay that way."

She explained that despite her personal decisions, she supports and respects others who choose them.

“I also am, like, ‘Do whatever works for you.’ I know this woman who went through so much stuff in her life and she just did something that made her feel so good about herself and it changed her whole perspective.”

She continued, “We’re all on our own path and we have to support each other. I see a lot of like, turkey neck or sometimes I go, wow, we’re there now. I don’t really have a tip necessarily other than I want to tell myself not to be so mean to myself.”
