The Weeknd’s cryptic Lady Gaga post sends fans wild

The Weeknd has sent fans into meltdown after wiping his entire Instagram and uploading just one mysterious image.

The 35-year-old singer posted a vintage shot of Lady Gaga from her The Fame days, posing beside a Lexus with “LADYGAGA” on the plate. 

There was no caption and no explanation, just enough chaos to send the internet spiralling.

Within minutes, fans began flooding social media with theories. 

Many believe the post hints at a long-awaited collaboration between the two megastars, especially after last year’s rumours that Blinding Lights hitmaker would appear on Gaga’s album Mayhem, which ultimately released without him. 

With the sudden social-media purge and this carefully chosen throwback, fans are convinced something is finally cooking.

But while the Bloody Mary singer and One Of The Girls singer make headlines for mysterious reasons, another familiar face has re-emerged for all the wrong ones. 

Johnson Wen, the Australian prankster known online as “Pyjama Man” was escorted out of Gaga’s Brisbane concert before she even stepped on stage.

Footage from fans showed him being spoken to by security and quickly led out of the arena. 

Wen later complained on Instagram that he was booed by early arrivals and removed long before showtime.

The 26-year-old made global news weeks ago for rushing Ariana Grande during a Wicked: For Good event, earning a nine-day jail sentence and a ban from re-entering Singapore. 

He’s previously disrupted shows by The Weeknd, Katy Perry and The Chainsmokers, a pattern prosecutors have called an attempt to go viral at any cost.

Fans are now hoping the only drama ahead is whatever The Weeknd and the 39-year-old singer may be plotting.
