Victoria Beckham opened up about husband’s knighthood during a recent TV appearance.
On The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the 51-year-old, when asked about the honour, told Jimmy, "[It's] so deserved, so well deserved, and we are so proud of him. What he's done for the sport, and also his philanthropic work, is amazing. So, we're so proud of him, so deserved."
Talking about being with the former Manchester United star, the beauty mogul added, "It was everything. We are both so patriotic, so proud to be British. So, for David to be knighted by the King of our country it meant so much.”
The mother-of-four continued, “It was a real, real 'pinch me' moment. And I think the whole country is so proud of him, everything that he's achieved."
During the conversation, Jimmy called her with her new official title, Lady Beckham, to which Victoria confirmed that even at home, David is called by his official title, Sir David.
The beauty mogul donned a sophisticated satin gown from her own fashion label, accessorising her look with a combination of pearl, diamond bangles and a diamond ring.
Later, the designer took to her Instagram and noted, “Such a pleasure to be back on” with Jimmy Fallon, Lily Collins and Aryna Sabalenka. Adding ‘Thank you for having me’ and is looking forward as she “can’t wait to collab on your next Christmas album @jimmyfallon”
Previously, David has collaborated with UNICEF for 20 years and contributed to securing the London 2012 Olympics, recently honoured in the King's Birthday Honours.
