Australian actor Jacob Elordi is booked and busy with his takeover of Hollywood.
In a new admission, the rising star revealed who inspired him, and it is a legendary icon who passed away very young.
Jacob, who is staring in multiple projects as the lead, spoke to Variety and opened up about pursuing a career in Hollywood.
In the interview, Jacob said his inspiration was the late Heath Ledger.
“I also saw Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight when I was about 12. I realised he was from Australia and then the cog started turning that this could be a viable thing for me to do.”
Speaking of his childhood, the young star said he was an introvert growing up.
“I was quite loud as a kid, which is every actors’ thing. They didn’t know what to do with me. There was a teacher at school, Mrs. McMahon, who decided to cast me as the cat in The Cat in the Hat musical.”
Heath rose to fame with his rom-com roles and later starred as the joker in The Dark Knight, for which he won an Oscar.
In 2008, the actor passed away at the young age of 28.
