Gwen Stefani debunks divorce rumours with Blake Shelton

Gwen Stefani has finally come forward to respond to her breakup rumours with her husband Blake Shelton.

The Rich Girl singer took to Instagram Stories to share a sweet selfie of the couple where Stefani can be seen gushing as Shelton adorably kisses her cheek.

The couple chose a clever way to quietly put an end to the chatter of their split. 

“This is a completely made-up story created solely for headlines and clicks,” an insider told Page Six, 

The rumours started after the couple skipped the CMA Awards on November 19.

Their absence felt odd since Shelton was nominated for Musical Event of the Year for his Post Malone collaboration Pour Me a Drink.

At the time it was reported that the pair simply chose to watch the ceremony from home according to a source of E! News.

Stefani and Shelton tied the knot in July 2021. The couple has been clear in public about the strength of their bond in the past. 

“Meeting Shelton felt like ‘a second chance at life’ Stefani claimed at an interview with The Guardian. 

Gwen’s comment in the interview pointed towards the difficult time she faced while going through a divorce from Gavin Rossdale.
