Halle Bailey says she is ‘healed’ after bitter split

Halle Bailey, who recently had a bad breakup with her lover and father of her child, DD, Halo stated that she has healed from it.

The 25-year-old singer’s candid conversation with E! News has revealed that this year has been transformative for her.

She stated that despite her messy breakup, she learned a lot and has healed from the trauma.

The Little Mermaid’s main lead said, “It's been a really transformative year. I've been so excited. I released an album.”

The actress urged her fans to go listen to the music she has worked hard on as she exclaimed, “I just feel healed and happy and free. I just want people to listen to the music, and I'm grateful to be here.

She also added that she is looking forward to spend time with her 23-month-old son during the Christmas and gushed, “"I like to bake sugar cookies. I do a whole thing.”

Notably, the latest album, Love?... or Something Like It marks the first solo studio album of the crooner and consist of 12 music tracks.

For the unversed, the former pair was only together for two and a half years and has come to terms to share custody of the only child in October, 2025.
