Jessie J and Channing Tatum apparently did not have a picture perfect relationship, as the singer’s new scathing song indicates.
The Bang Bang singer and the Magic Mike actor dated on-and-off from 2018 to 2020, ending in a reportedly amicable split.
As per a repost by The Sun, the 37-year-old debuted a new song Threw It Away, from her upcoming LP Don’t Tease Me with a Good Time, during a listening party in London, taking a blatant jab at her ex while referring to its lyrics.
“This next song I wrote in 2020 with Ryan Tedder, and you can figure out who I was dating," she said of the track.
The lyrics read, “I put my heart out on the table / That’s when it got uncomfortable / But oh that karma is gonna come one day / ’Cause I gave you my love and you threw it away."
Jessie sings that she doesn’t want the alleged beast from the track to rewrite the narrative, and switch perspectives with her since she was the beauty.
The Do It like a Dude singer also talked about her health, after having undergone a mastectomy following her early breast cancer diagnosis.
Jessie reportedly has Stage 2B in cancer, in which it is between 2 and 5cm.
