Ariana Grande and Jonathan Bailey’s on-screen cooking session is taking the internet by storm, but it is apparently not the duo’s first time cooking together.
The No Tears Left To Cry and the Bridgerton star opened up about the first time they joined forces in the kitchen, with the latter revealing that he got an early listen to some of the former’s hits from her latest album, Eternal Sunshine.
In The New York Times Cooking interview, the pair was asked if they had cooked for each other when the Fellow Travelers actor asked the Victorious actress if she remembered the time that they did and she played music for them.
“The first time I heard…” Jonathan began, which Ariana completed, “We Can’t Be Friends, because I had just written it and I was so nervous about it.”
I was like- I think I need to put out music, and I was like will you tell me what you think? I’m scared. You were so cute,” to which the 37-year-old stated that he told her it was “a bop.”
Jonathan then added that he had actually heard three tracks, to which Ariana seemed surprised and could not remember what she played him.
Ariana and Jonathan shared a kiss for Wicked: For Good which was cut from the film since it was too passionate.
