The finale of Dancing with the Stars has finally aired, and the winner of the 38th season of the show is proving that a knack for dancing runs in the family.

After gripping viewers at the edge of their seats with an enticing season, the coveted Mirrorball Trophy has finally been claimed by one among contenders Alix Earle, Robert Irwin, Jordan Chiles, Dylan Efron and Elaine Hendrix.

The award and title went to the beloved Australian conservationist, Robert, a decade after his elder sister Bindi also emerged victor on the show.

"My sister said it best: Thank you for changing my life!" the 21-year-old said upon winning, likely referring to the show.

Meanwhile his equally talented dancing partner, Witney Carson stated, "I'm so grateful for Robert, honestly — I already feel like I won with him as my friend and I can't thank you enough."

The wildlife photographer has kept the memory of his father, the legendary Steve Irwin alive throughout the show, even saying that he wishes his father could’ve seen his final performance.

Notably, the dancing duo had performed a Quickstep, a Freestyle to Black & Gold by Sam Sparro and The Nights by Avicii and Cha Cha for their final dance.

How much is Robert Irwin getting paid for ‘Dancing with the Stars’?

Robert has reportedly earned US$125,000, or $A188,000, as a base salary for his first two weeks on DWTS.
