American-Canadian actor Brendar Fraser broke down in tears during the Kelly Clarkson show as he opened up about his documentary.
Brendan rose to global fame as the lead of The Mummy in 1999 playing adventurer Rick O'Connell.
Later, the actor faced health issues and sexual assault issues resulting him in gaining weight.
The Oscar winner opens up about his struggles in his new short documentary, Saving Superman.
Speaking about his documentary on the Kelly Clarkson Show, Brendan got visibly emotional.
When Kelly asked him why he was prompted to make the documentary, he said “Well, a middle-aged autistic man in middle America and each summer he wears his Superman costume.”
“He knows everything about Superman”, he said while speaking of the man’s needs.
He added that he is doing that because he wants to “be a part of it for that reason”, to speak up for autism.
The actor added they “need to do” for everyone who has a family on the spectrum.
In 2018, Brendan accused Philip Berk of sexually assaulting him which Philip first denied but later admitted he did it in “jest”. The stress from the situation led Brendan to be depressed breaking his career.
