Netflix has officially revealed the long-mysterious and highly anticipated Aunt Ophelia, it's Eva Green.

After being teased only from the back in the dramatic Wednesday Season 2 finale, the enigmatic Addams family member will be played by Eva Green, known for Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and Dark Shadows.

She joins Wednesday Season 3 as a series regular, marking the show’s biggest casting news yet.

Ophelia’s identity has been a fan obsession since her shadowy introduction, with theories ranging from Lady Gaga’s Rosalyn Rottwood to an all-new character.

The confirmation shuts down the speculation and sets the stage for a darker, more supernatural season.

A Raven like her niece, Wednesday (Jenna Ortega), Ophelia spiraled after pushing her abilities too far. Her mother, Hester Frump (Joanna Lumley), committed her to Willow Hill Psychiatric Hospital, though Ophelia later escaped.

Her whereabouts remained a mystery until Wednesday uncovered her journal and experienced a chilling vision of a flower-crowned woman with long blonde hair.

The finale then revealed Ophelia imprisoned in Hester’s basement, wearing a red dress and scrawling “Wednesday must die” in blood.

Her blonde hair mirrors the original 1960s version, where Carolyn Jones played both sisters.

Season 3 is now set to dive straight into this twisted family feud.
