Katy Perry has ‘improved’ Justin Trudeau's life 2 years after his split

Katy Perry has brought a significant improvement to Justin Trudeau’s life, as he is now a much happier person with her.

After enduring a harsh divorce from his wife, Sophie Grégoire, in 2023, the former prime minister is finally finding ease in his life, much of which has to do with his new relationship with the chart-topping American singer.

A Canadian social source shared with PEOPLE that Trudeau has faced “a lot of upheaval” over the past couple of years in both his professional and personal life following his split from his ex-wife.

Earlier this year, he resigned from his position as Canadian Prime Minister, which reportedly left him feeling upset. However, the source noted that his relationship with Perry has lifted his mood in recent months.

“He is a much happier person now," the source said. "Stresses are greatly diminished.”

The insider also claimed that Trudeau is “intrigued with Katy.” The couple have fun together and laugh, and talk about everything.

"His life is much improved, and his relationship with Katy has had a lot to do with it,” the source added.

The pair were later spotted kissing on a yacht near Santa Barbara and celebrating Perry’s birthday in Paris, where they were seen holding hands while attending a cabaret show at Crazy Horse.
