Dwayne Johnson to voice for ‘Zootopia 2’ new character, Zeke

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is making a powerful return to Disney, but this time, as a tiny, accident-prone dik-dik named Zeke in Zootopia 2.

The global superstar officially joins the voice cast nearly a decade after the original 2016 hit became one of Disney’s most beloved animated blockbusters.

According to Disney’s confirmation, Johnson’s character Zeke finds himself in the middle of a chaotic high-speed chase gone hilariously wrong, alongside fan favorites Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin) and Nick Wilde (voiced by Jason Bateman).

Set to release on November 26, the sequel follows the dynamic duo as they dive into a brand-new mystery that promises to be even wilder and more unpredictable than the first.

The movie will also see Idris Elba reprising his role as Chief Bogo, joined by new characters voiced by Ke Huy Quan, Fortune Feimster, and Andy Samberg.

Directed by Jared Bush and Byron Howard, the creative minds behind Encanto and Moana, Zootopia 2 is expected to blend heartfelt storytelling with clever humor and top-tier animation.

With Johnson’s comedic energy joining the mix and Disney’s proven magic touch, Zootopia 2 is already being hailed as the studio’s next billion-dollar blockbuster in the making.
