Billie Eilish's brother Finneas Baird O'Connel is back and has shared some serious advice when it comes to artists and their opinion on music.
The artist is known for his work with his little sister as they have both released numerous hit songs and have worked with renowned musicians of the industry.
Sitting for the latest episode of Billboard's On the Record podcast, he opened up about life as a producer.
When asked what advice he would give to an artist who is struggling to find what they want in their music and is it difficult for him in that position to deal with them?
He revealed, "There are pros and cons to the lack of technical vernacular,"
The 28-year-old explained, "I’ve said this to Billie a lot lately, because Billie, over the course of the three albums we’ve made, I’ve hipped her to more and more of her own vocal engineering,"
He added, "She’s got a great ear, and it just makes her life 20 seconds faster all the time… One of the things I said to her...was, one of the challenges with the more you know is the less you imagine, I think. So what I want is for an artist to just be purely imaginative."
For the unversed, as a solo artist, Finneas has released two albums, including 2024’s For Cryin’ Out Loud! and 2025’s The Dream.
