Emma Heming has shared sweet snippets from past years as she celebrated her special day.

The British model is married to the retired American actor, Bruce Willis, who has been diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD).

Taking it to Instagram, the actress revealed she is "proud" of herself for coming this far as she wrote, "My 40s were heavy, yet I'm proud of how far I've come as a wife, mom, care partner, and advocate."

The 50-year-old also shared a heartwarming throwback in which her lover was seen happy for her and kept singing "happy birthday" in a funny voice because of helium consumption.

She added, "I'm also proud of the work we're doing through the Emma & Bruce Willis Fund and what lies ahead. Together, we're raising awareness of FTD, supporting caregivers, and advancing education and research."

Emma went on to add that she wishes that in the future things will get much easier for her and for the families who are suffering from dementia.

She also asked her fans that the best thing they can do if they want to celebrate her day is to, "consider supporting the Fund."

Notably, the husband and the wife have started their own fund-raising platform to help families in need.
