Bunnie Xo shares truth behind split from Jelly Roll

Bunnie Xo is speaking candidly about the disagreement with estranged husband Jelly Roll that led to their separation.

During her latest media interaction, the 46-year-old reflected on the challenges in their relationship, admitting that the couple often avoided addressing conflicts directly.

In a June 18 episode of her Dumb Blonde podcast, recalling an argument around Mother’s Day, the media producer revealed she reached a breaking point and told the American rapper, “Well, file the f---ing divorce papers.”

“And in our relationship, that is the one cardinal thing that you don't say, even though my husband has said it numerous times…. But when I say it, it really holds weight, because I'm not the type of person who says what I don't mean,” she added.

She shared that she left after the disagreement and the pair went weeks without speaking. 

During that time, the Son of Sinner hitmaker followed through and filed for divorce.

“Was this divorce mutual? No. It was not mutual, even though I told him to file the divorce papers. I was speaking out of anger and just frustration,” she said.

Despite the split, Bunnie stressed that they remain on good terms and are still planning to welcome a baby together, with the former couple committed to co-parenting as a family.
