Jelly Roll speaks out after shock split from Bunnie Xo: ‘Internet is a liar’

Jelly Roll has finally spoken out after news of his shock divorce from wife Bunnie Xo, and he’s made it clear there’s no bad blood between them.

The 41-year-old country music star, real name Jason DeFord, addressed the split during an emotional moment on stage at his Little ASS Shed Tour stop in Saratoga Springs, New York. 

Speaking directly to fans, he didn’t hold back when reacting to online rumours.

“While we’re talking about liars, the internet is a liar too,” he told the crowd. 

“This is the only time and the only city I’m going to speak about this, so break your camera phones out now.”

The rapper then insisted that despite filing for divorce, the pair remain incredibly close. 

“Me and my wife are best friends, we will always be best friends,” he said. 

“I will love her. She will probably be the only woman I’ll ever love the way I loved her.”

He also shut down speculation about infidelity, saying bluntly, “Nobody cheated on nobody,” and confirmed that they had already spoken earlier in the day.

His comments came shortly after Bunnie Xo, real name Alisa DeFord, addressed the split on her Dumb Blonde podcast, revealing their divorce is expected to be finalised within weeks. 

She also surprised fans by saying their plans to have a baby together are still going ahead.

“We’re still having a baby together,” she said, adding that their bond remains strong and unconventional.

The couple, who married in 2016, have both insisted their relationship is evolving rather than ending in hostility.
