Ariana Grande, who was also the highest-paid female musician in 2020, recently opened about how she didn’t want to work on music before her movie, Wicked.
While talking with Evan Ross Katz for the podcast, Shut Up Evan on October 24, the American actress revealed how her work at that time changed her.
The 32-year-old songstress wrote her seventh album, Eternal Sunshine when she was working for the movie, which featured Ariana, Cynthia Erivo, and Jonathan Bailey.
She stated that the film adaptation changed her for good as she was inclined to do music more than ever.
The Grammy award winner gushed, “I felt like a genuine spark, like a reconnection and inspiration and something I mean, maybe I missed it,"
The crooner explained how it overwhelmingly inspired she was that she no choice but to write down an album, “I just felt like I couldn't not, I had to do it.”
The movie was released on November 24 and she was working on her album, Eternal Sunshine in January and then later released it in March, 2024.
Ariana also disclosed how she was forewarned by the production team of the movie that it might hectic with the shooting and that she won’t be able to work on her album and in return the Side to Side hitmaker replied, “"I said, great, that's fine. I'll finish it before then, or I'll finish it after,"
For the unversed, the sequel of the movie, Wicked named Wicked: For Good will be premiered in the theatres on November 21.
