Bear Grylls’ co-star reveals ‘disgusting’ secret about him
The British adventurer’s co-star shared what its like to film with him
British adventurer and presenter Bear Grylls has had his fair share of contribution in “disgusting” on-screen moments.
The survival expert had a long-running show Man vs Wild which showed the darker side of surviving in inhumane conditions.
While filming with the adventurer, Inbetweeners actor Joe Thomas shared some secrets about him.
The actor appeared on reality competition show Celebrity Bear Hunt earlier this year, hosted by Holly Willoughby.
Contestants on the show have to evade Bear Grylls while surviving in the Costa Rican wilderness.
Sharing what it is like to film with the star survivalist, Joe said “He is very smelly.”
Sharing an incident with The Sun, Joe said he was blindfolded by Bear himself using a cloth he had tied around his neck which he explained as “smelliest thing I’ve ever… I mean disgusting”.
Joe said Bear is someone who might not “wash at all” because “if you smell nice that’s when the animals smell you”.
“It was like it’d gone beyond like old sweat. It was into a whole kind of new spectrum of smells, so that was a moment”, he further added.
