Isabella Tate, who played Julie in the procedural drama 9-1-1: Nashville, has passed away at the young age of 23.

The actress’s passing was confirmed by multiple sources, including an obituary, her co-star on the first season of the show and her talent agency.

In an Instagram story made by The McCray Agency, which the aspiring star was signed to, the official cause of death was revealed.

It continued that the late star’s family wishes for privacy as they grapple with the sudden and shocking loss of their loved one.

The disease that Isabella was affected by is described as “a rare multisystem, multiorgan disease that causes lifelong, progressive symptoms, including muscle weakness and atrophy in the arms and legs, sensory loss, and other complications,” referring to CMT.

In the statement revealing the cause, the agency also revealed that the family hopes that instead of people sending flowers to them they’d donate to those battling the disease in memory of the actress.

Notably, her co-star from the series Hunter McVey, also had only great things to say about the deceased 23-year-old from their short time working together.
