American singer Chris Brown made a court appearance in London following assault charges he is facing.
The rapper was arrested in May soon after he landed in Manchester following charges imposed on him by music producer Abe Diaw.
Abe Diaw claimed that the singer hit him in 2023 in a nightclub in Mayfair London.
According to him, Chris hit him in the head with a bottle and when he collapsed to the floor he hit him.
During the hearing at the Manchester Magistate’s Court, the prosecution said that Chris had commited “an unprovoked attack with a weapon in a nightclub full of people.”
Chris has consistently denied the allegations over what prosecutors say was an “unprovoked attack”.
The 36-year-old appeared at London's Southwark Crown Court on Friday.
In the hearing he did not speak much but confirmed his name.
The Loyal singer made the appearance with his co-defendant Omololu Akinlolu who has also denied all charges.
The trial is set to begin in October 2026.
In May, the singer paid 5 million pounds to get bail in order to start his Breezy Bowl XX tour.
