Taylor Swift fiancé Travis Kelce reveals secrets to staying committed

Travis Kelce, who recently got engaged to pop superstar Taylor Swift, is sending fans into a frenzy over a resurfaced podcast clip.

The video, posted on X, shows 35-year-old NFL star chatting with fashion designer Kristin Cavallari on her Let’s Be Honest podcast back in 2023.

The 38-year-old TV star confesses she had a crush on Kelce since his 2016 show Catching Kelce, while the footballer explains his dating philosophy.

In the split-screen clip, Kelce, wearing a black shirt, smiles awkwardly while gesturing calmly, as Cavallari leans in, animatedly describing the instant chemistry.

“To really dive into a relationship with somebody… you really gotta know somebody and be in full throttle," he emphasises that relationships aren’t about rushing. 

"The initial spark is fun, but you get to see their tendencies and what they do on a daily basis. That can grow 100%.”

Fans quickly connected the “full throttle” line to Swift’s 2025 track So High School from The Tortured Poets Department, joking that it might have inspired her to publicly “claim” Kelce after his first appearance at the Kansas City Chiefs vs Bears game in September 2023.

Social media reactions range from humour to second-hand embarrassment. 

One fan wrote, “She really said okay time to claim my man bitches and I just think that’s hilarious,” while another admitted, “This gave me such severe second-hand embarrassment that I couldn’t finish watching it.”
