King Charles is close to finalising a major decision on his brother Prince Andrew.
The royal family was hit with major crisis when Prince Andrew’s ties with convicted felon Jeffrey Epstein came to light followed by his former wife Sarah’s emails to the late criminal surfacing online.
The posthumous book of Virginia Giuffre, who accused Andrew of sex offences, is soon to be launched that poses further risks on the royal family.
In December 2014, Virginia described being trafficked to the Duke of York, at least three times.
The memoir titled Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, is co-written by Virginia and Amy Wallace.
Following the situation, the King is actively considering banishing Prince Andrew from the Order of the Garter, as per the Daily Mail.
Important discussions under way at Buckingham Palace which will follow the monarch’s decision.
The Order of the Garter, founded by Edward III in 1348, is Britain's most senior order of chivalry.
The removal would be an intense blow for Andrew who values it deeply.
The monarch can strip the honour himself although it is believed that Charles would prefer Andrew to voluntarily relinquish it.
