Kim Kardashian has broken her silence on rumours that she had a fling with Travis Barker before his marriage to her sister Kourtney.
The 44-year-old SKIMS founder and the musician, 49, first crossed paths decades ago when Barker dated Kim’s friend Paris Hilton in the early 2000s.
Over the years, speculation about a secret romance persisted, but Kim has finally clarified the situation. Appearing on the latest episode of Call Her Daddy, the mum-of-four was asked directly if she had ever hooked up with Barker.
“No, I never have. Absolutely, that… I do not mind you asking,” she said. “I have been friends with him, but never in that way… And never hooked up.”
Kim explained that their connection was purely friendly. “He dated Paris, and we were all friends, and we would all hang out… We’d go on tours in Amsterdam,” she said.
Host Alex Cooper further asked: “Did you have any heads-up that you were going to be in his memoir, like referenced as the crush?”
“No, but it would say that we never hooked up,” Kim clarified. “I mean, I don't think he would allude to that information.”
She added that Kourtney was always aware of their interactions and that Barker was a family friend, often attending events with his children.
When asked about being mentioned in Barker’s memoir, Kardashian emphasized there was no romantic context. “Everything was super open and cool. Everyone’s been friends. There was nothing weird,” she confirmed.
