Taylor Swift never wanted to get married?

Taylor Swift got engaged to Travis Kelce in August but there was a time when she never wanted to get married.

The pop star has been dating in the public eyes for years and her relationships became a topic of public interest.

Her longest relationship was with British actor Joe Alwyn who she dated from 2016 to 2023.

While many believed this is her “end game”, the couple broke up in 2023 and while neither explained what happened, it is believed that he was “depressed”.

The Love Story singer has made many love songs but never thought of getting married until she started dating the footballer.

Speaking to Spice Girls star Emma Bunton on Heart Radio, the singer opened up about marriage.

“You would think that I had been the type of person who would have obsessed over the idea of a wedding my whole life, but I actually never thought about what I would ever do or what I would want until I met the person.”, she said.

In the past, she has write about not getting married in her song You’re Losing Me, which is rumoured to be about Joe.

In the song she writes, “And I wouldn't marry me either, A pathological people pleaser.”

However, now she is opening up about getting married, wedding planning and invited everyone she knows to her big wedding.
