Cassie Ventura reacts to ex Diddy getting convicted in federal case

Cassie Ventura, who testified against Diddy in federal case, finally broke her silence after sentence hearing on October 3.

After months long testimonies and consideration in sex trafficking and racketeering case, the music mogul was sentence to four years of imprisonment after partial verdict in July.

However, all eyes were fixated on his former girlfriend Cassie’s reaction who testified while being nine months pregnant.

In a statement issued by the songstress’ lawyers, it was noted that the decision “recognizes the impact of the serious offenses he committed.”

While Diddy inflicted trauma on the 39-year-old, the attorneys ensured that “with the support of her family and friends, Ms. Ventura will continue healing.”

They pointed out Cassie coming forward with her story is a sign of “bravery and fortitude” while is “an inspiration to so many.”

On the other hand, the Bad Boy Records owner fell to his knees as he learned about his sentence, turning towards his family to say: “I’m coming home… I love you, I’m sorry.”

This officially marked the end of an eight-week trial which greatly impacted the rapper’s public image after controversial aspects of his life laid bare in front of the public’s eye.

On July 1, a partial verdict was announced by the jury, convicting him of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in July.
