Tom Holland and Zendaya, widely recognised as one of Hollywood’s most talked-about couples, have recently taken a major step in their lives.
The Spider-Man co-stars, who made their romance public in 2021, apparently felt the need for extra protection after admirers began arriving at their gates, hoping for selfies and autographs.
According to the reports, they are splashing out around £1,000 a day on security at their West London residence, as fans increasingly turn up uninvited.
A source told The Sun: “They adore their fans, but when they’re at home, they just want to live normally.
People were showing up constantly, so they brought in security to keep things under control.”
Moreover, neighbours have also noticed the heightened precautions.
“There’s this big security guy standing guard—he’s friendly, but you wouldn’t want to cross him,” one said.
The 29-year-old actress, rose to fame in 2010 with her role as Rocky Blue, has also previously admitted she feels particularly safe when working alongside Tom.
Meanwhile, the Uncharted actor recently revealed on a podcast that he often checks on his fiancée online, joking that Googling her name helps him make sure she’s okay.
On the work front, the high-profile couple stars in The Odyssey, an epic adaptation of Homer’s ancient Greek poem, directed by Christopher Nolan and featuring Matt Damon as Odysseus.
Notably, the movie is scheduled for release on July 17, 2026.
Tom Holland and Zendaya are officially engaged, having confirmed their engagement in January 2025.
The English actor proposed during the holidays at one of her family homes, and she debuted her engagement ring at the Golden Globes.
While the couple has not yet set a wedding date due to their busy schedules, their engagement marks a major step in their relationship.
