John Legend reflects on ‘highs and lows’ with Chrissy Teigen

John Legend is taking a look back on his twelve years of marriage with Chrissy Teigen, detailing all that the pair have been through together.
The All Of Me singer attended the Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) Gala at The Beverly Hilton where he was honoured with the BMAC Quincy Jones Humanitarian Award, when he ended up reflecting on his time with the chef.
In a conversation with People, the father-of-four stated that him and the model "feel like we've grown together as a couple, and I think being parents forces you to grow up, and it changes your priorities."
"But also, [for] all the joy we've experienced together, we've also had tragedy together and challenges together,” John said, adding, "We've grown up together and been through all the highs and lows together."
The 46-year-old emphasised that all the hardships and struggles that the duo had been through together cemented their bond and brought them closer.
John also noted that their wedding anniversary this year was much more lowkey (as compared to their 10-year one in 2023) as him and Chrissy just went to dinner to celebrate.
Notably, the loved-up couple had renewed their vows two years ago at Lake Como in Italy, since the location has special ties to their love story.
