Tom Holland, who is engaged to Zendaya, was forced to take some time off from shooting Spider-Man: Brand New Day after suffering an injury.
On Friday, the 29-year-old was busy filming the new and much-anticipated part of Spider-Man, when he suffered a mild concussion, as dished by The Hollywood Reporter.
The Odyssey star was instantly rushed to hospital, where he stayed briefly; however, it has been reported by another source that Tom will be returning back with same enthusiasm.
Addressing the press, his father revealed that the actor would be away from filming for a “while.”
Previously, the Uncharted lead was seen stepping out with his flame for hosting Posh Pub Quiz event for a charity that he runs with his brothers.
After the news began to make the rounds, fans rushed to X to express their concerns for their favourite star, raising questions about movie star’s safety while performing dangerous acts.
One of the users admitted always wondering “why they don’t use more CGI for dangerous stunts.” While another fan noted that like Tom Cruise, the Marvel star also “like to do his own stunts.”
The outlet noted that the new part is “the most important” one of the series as 2021’s No Way Home has been the highest grossing film ever, making $1.91 billion.
