Donald Trump has dished his thoughts about Jimmy Kimmel’s show being taken off air and has also expressed hope for more late-night show hosts to meet the same fate.

The show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, was pulled because of the host’s comments about Charlie Kirk’s death and about the person responsible for it (allegedly) being someone with right-wing political beliefs.

In a statement on Truth Social, the politician wrote about the comedian’s removal,” Great News for America: The ratings challenged Jimmy Kimmel Show is CANCELLED.”

Trump continued, "Congratulations to ABC for finally having the courage to do what had to be done. Kimmel has ZERO talent, and worse ratings than even Colbert, if that’s possible."

The 79-year-old also shifted his focus to the few remaining popular late-night hosts, Jimmy Fallon and Seth Myers, adding that their ratings are also bad and that they should be the next to go.

Meanwhile the businessman had already ominously noted around the time that Stephen Colbert’s show had been cancelled, that Kimmel was next.

Notably, Trump had also celebrated the Emmy-winning show going off air by saying that he absolutely loved that Colbert got fired.

Why is Stephen Cobert’s late night show ending?

Colbert’s show ending appears to have political undertones, but the network’s reason for the cancellation has been noted as “purely a financial decision.”
