English pop star Ed Sheeran has made many records and won many awards but there is one thing he was offered that he refused.
The singer is one of the most successful singers of the 21st century who has given hits like Shape of You, Perfect, Photograph and Lego House.
Ed revealed that he had the opportunity to make history but he turned it down.
In conversation with Scott Mills on his BBC Radio 2 breakfast show, Ed revealed that he could have done the first ever gig in space.
“I was offered to go to space a while ago, you know?”, he said.
“It was talk about doing a gig there, doing a first gig in space”, he further added.
The hitmaker said he turned down the offer because he is terrified and does not want to be an experimental “guinea pig”.
Saying he has kids, two daughters, he is “not going to risk that for a Guinness World Record”.
Earlier this year, Katy Perry made history by being the first ever pop star to go to space on the historic all-women crew flight.
Blue Origin, the space company by Jeff Bezos, took Katy Perry on an eleven-minute flight.
