Justin Bieber’s album release delay infuriates fans

Justin Bieber had made a surprise announcement about his seventh studio album Swag, and has also done the same for its successor, Swag II.

On September 4, the Daisies singer began teasing the colour pink, quickly followed by the bombshell news that the highly anticipated record would drop on Friday at midnight.

However, the tracks are yet to be released, and it is way past the deadline that the two-time Grammy winner had talked about.

The misdirect has made Justin trend on Twitter (formerly X) as netizens hilariously poke fun at the moment.

“what is happening i’m 26 years old and about to cry about a justin bieber album not being released on time,” said a netizen, while another added, “justin bieber could’ve told us that swag 2 wasn’t dropping at midnight…”

“all justin bieber does is lie,” a third internet user wrote, while a fourth referenced his viral meme, writing, “Justin Bieber, honey… is it clocking to you, you had an album release?” with a crying emoji.

Notably, the Baby hitmaker’s Spotify has also crashed ahead of the release while listeners wait at the edge of their seats to stream Swag part two.

Sources note that while Swag had a more R&B-focused vibe, the highly anticipated Swag II is set to be more pop-inspired.
