Ariana Grande faces concert chaos as microphone fails on stage

Ariana Grande proved nothing could stop her from putting on a spectacular show after a series of technical glitches threatened to derail her concert in Brooklyn.

The 33-year-old pop superstar was performing at the Barclays Center on Monday night when her microphone suddenly cut out during performances of yes, and? and Eternal Sunshine. 

But instead of letting the mishap ruin the evening, she kept her cool while thousands of loyal fans stepped in to sing every word, creating one of the night's most memorable moments.

Once the issue had been resolved, the 7 Rings singer took a moment to thank the audience for sticking with her and praised her crew for working quickly behind the scenes.

"Thank you to our amazing team who's dealing with these technical difficulties. And thank you for your patience," she told the cheering crowd before checking whether everything was finally back to normal as she prepared to launch into Just Like Magic. 

Smiling, she asked: "Did you hear any of that?"

The brief interruption did little to dampen the atmosphere, with concertgoers applauding Ariana's calm response and professionalism as the show continued without further problems.

The Wicked actress is currently travelling the globe on her Eternal Sunshine Tour, but the demanding schedule has already forced one major career change. 

It was recently revealed that she had to pull out of her planned debut in season 13 of American Horror Story after production dates for the hit FX series clashed with her tour commitments.

According to reports, scheduling conflicts made it impossible for the Dancing Through Life singer to balance both projects.

Despite the setback, Ariana has plenty to celebrate. 

Her eighth studio album, petal, is set to arrive on July 31, while American Horror Story season 13 is due to premiere on September 24.
