Diddy 'not ready' to accept his fate as ruling looms?

Sean “Diddy” Combs, who was found not guilty on major charges in federal case, put forward new demands before his sentencing on October 3.

After being denied a presidential pardon, Diddy’s team is looking forward to another way of clearing the partial verdict.

It was reported by TMZ that the Bad Boys Record owner slammed the federal prosecutors by claiming that they used wrong definition for his trial.

As a result, the rapper has requested for acquittal or at least a new trial. His team is demanding to apply the Mann act, using prostitution’s definition of 1910.

According to the explanation of 1910, “a prostitute was a woman who had sex outside marriage.”

The charges in the sex trafficking and racketeering case might result in years of imprisonment if proven guilty, which he might not be ready for.

Until the final sentence hearing, the musician is being held at a Brooklyn detention centre after his arrest in September 2024.

To avoid getting jailed, Diddy’s team reached out to the 47th president of the US Donald Trump for a get out of jail free card.

However, the politician’s response was not satisfactory as he recalled the rapper’s “very hostile” behaviour towards him when he ran for office.

The defence lawyer later confirmed this move and admitted the singer might shift his political stance in case of a pardon.
