Seth Rogen is ready to fulfill this fans’ wish

Canadian actor and comedian Seth Rogen has a number of memorable movie and TV lines, but fans seem more interested in a very different kind of request than hearing his iconic dialogues.

In his recent appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast alongside Ben Stiller, the actor revealed, “People just want to smoke weed with me.”

Host Josh Horowitz asked if Rogen has any rules about that.

“I usually don’t,” Rogen admitted. “If it seems like it’ll really be special for the person, sometimes I will,” he said with a laugh. “I’ve had moments where I’m like, ‘This is a big moment for this person. The least I could do is take a couple hits with them.’”

Earlier this year, the sitcom alumnus shared with The Guardian that the weed he smokes daily is “a very therapeutic part of my day-to-day journey, which I don’t even question or think about anymore, honestly.”

Expanding on his explanation, Rogen said he processes it differently than most people do.

“I’ve been at parties with people and we’ll share a joint,” he continued, “and I’ll be fine and go about my day, while they’ll enter, like, a new dark period for three months. Years will go by and then I’ll run into them at a party and they’ll be like, ‘The last time I saw you was the last time I smoked weed, and it was terrible.’”

He added, “I’m not physically gifted in many ways, but there’s one way in which I am — my ability to process weed.”
