Blake Shelton shocks fans with major announcement about career

Blake Shelton, best known for his chart-topping hits, is gearing up for a Las Vegas return, announcing a fresh series of performances at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

The 49-year-old country star is set to perform eight shows from January 15 to January 31, 2026, following the huge success of his debut residency earlier this year.

“We had so much fun earlier this year, I figured—why not do it again,” he announced the residency in an official statement.

“This time we’re gonna do it more country, with more cocktails, and probably make a few more questionable decisions. Let’s go, Vegas.”

Notably, the upcoming shows will include songs from his latest album, For Recreational Use Only, marking his first release since joining BMG Nashville.

The record, is praised as Shelton’s most personal work in years. 

It features the catchy Top 10 hit Texas, the emotional ballad Let Him In Anyway, and a duet with his wife, Gwen Stefani, titled Hangin’ On.

Shelton, dubbed as country’s “ambassador,” had long dreamed of taking over the Vegas strip.

When his residency kicked off back in January, he shared snaps from backstage, raving, “Well damn!!! Now that’s how you kick off a Vegas residency!!!!!”
