Why Taylor Swift backed out of MGK performance last minute?

Machine Gun Kelly, who shares a daughter with Megan Fox, admitted he was looking forward to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce at his performance.

During Super Bowl LIX’s New Orleans match, the 31-year-old singer watched her beau Travis team from the suite when MGK asked him if the couple would attend the after party.

While speaking to ABC News Live, the singer recalled the pop sensation saying: “We’re gonna come watch you perform, it’s gonna be crazy tonight.”

The Bad Things crooner was excited for the evening, hoping for a “legendary night” ahead.

However, the Kansas City Chiefs faced a crushing defeat by the Philadelphia Eagles with a score of 44-22.

During the third quarter, Taylor changed her mind to be at the celebration as she reasoned: “I don’t think so man. I’ll see if I can get [Travis] to get out.”

The notable couple were not in attendance at the after party and MGK ended up performing in front of few Kansas City players.

This shows the father-of-one was seemingly affected after the billion pop sensation and the NFL star snubbed the party as he was really looking forward to it. 

In a separate interview, he called it the “lost party.”
