Cardi B, who is going strong with her beau Stefon Diggs, performed of a song likely from upcoming album Am I the Drama?
While the rapper opened up about her struggles on a live video recently, Cardi rocked the opening of the event as a host.
The WAP hitmaker entered the arena and owned the stage by energetically singing: “Hello, it’s me,” seemingly previewing a track from her unreleased record.
Cardi, donning a feathery black outfit and a high pony tail for the day, sent audience in to a frenzy as they grooved with the lyrics.
She was announced as the host few weeks through a video that was shared by WWE official X (Twitter) account.
The videos from the wrestling event began to make the rounds on the internet as music lovers caught a glimpse of the new track.
One of the X users declared that it is “SONG OF THE SUMMER” while another jokingly admitted: “Oh it’s a hit your honor.”
A third one speculated that this “sounded like the intro to her album,” confirming this is “yet another HITTTTTT.”
The outlet mentioned in the caption: “@iamcardib is hosting #SummerSlam live from @MetLifeStadium on August 2nd and 3rd.”
However, the Grammy winner dropped hints about her involvement in the show last September through a promo video with Bianca Belair.
