American singer Cardi B slammed with lawsuit for aggressive incident
Cardi B, who recently confirmed her relationship with Stefon Diggs, was slammed with a lawsuit in an attempt to hold her “accountable” for a viral incident.
While the 32-year-old rapper shut down the split rumours with new beau, Cardi was hit by another set-back.
The WAP singer was sued by a woman for alleged battery in relation to a 2023 incident where she threw her microphone towards the audience.
According to the document, the accuser alleged that Cardi hit her “forcefully” by throwing a mic during her first solo trip to Las Vegas.
On July 29, 2023, Jane Doe (pseudonym) was one of the attendees at the Drai’s Beachclub.
Jane claimed in the complaint the songstress “requested that the audience splash water on her” which sparked reaction from Cardi.
The alleged victim’s action was performed in “accordance with the environment.”
The clip of the clash began making the rounds at the time which showed the Bodak Yellow crooner asking the audience to splash “me down.”
However, there is no evidence if the video was taken before or after the skirmish.
Is Cardi B and Offset beefing?
This came after the musician was dragged by her former partner Offset after she entered new relationship.
After the split rumours began to make the rounds on the internet, Offset went live to mock his ex-flame, calling himself a cancer for Cardi.
He requested a spousal support for himself following their separation from one another.
