Well known rapper Cash Out has been sentenced to life in jail, with an additional sentencing of 70 years over his RICO and sex trafficking case.

Born John Gibson, he saw his hearing take place in Atlanta, with the separate sentences being concurrent.

His mother, Linda Smith also received a 30 year sentence on the RICO charges while his cousin Tyrone Taylor was sentenced to life in prison with an additional 70 years.

Having begun two years ago, the case grappled with the allegations that all three of them forced and coerced women into doing sex work for several years.

They were further accused of exploiting those women for profit, with prosecutors bringing in texts from 8 different phones for evidence.

The charges were first brought up against Gibson in June 2023, alleging that he had used his fame to commit the crimes.

While the legal team claimed that the victims had been pressured into testifying, the prosecution called his alleged actions a “seven-year reign of terror.”

Fulton County prosecutor Earnell Winfrey said during the trial, “This has been going on for seven years. This ain’t just straight pimping—this is trafficking.”
